We’ve kept things as simple as possible, but need to tell you about the most important things in how Cashflow Smoothing works.

 

Most importantly:

  • The Service Fee is applied equally to your instalment
  • The installments we collect are stored in your Sinch Wallet and are used to pay the expenses you send us
  • There is no interest charged on the amount of buffer used to top up your expense payments
  • There are no application, account, late or hidden fees
  • The Smoothing Plan restarts every 12 months which means any Buffer used is repaid and there is no negative balance in your Sinch Wallet

 

The service fee includes:

  • Automated bill processing and payment
  • Processing of all bills in original electronic format such as pdf (but not images of bills)
  • Bill fraud checks
  • Use of your Cashflow Buffer up to the limit in your Cashflow Plan
  • Direct debiting your account for your instalment.

 

We do have to pass on costs for:

  • $2 per bill if you’ve sent us a photo of a printed bill, instead of its original electronic format
  • Bank dishonour fees if the direct debit is rejected
  • Recovery fees if you owe us money and you are in default.

 

Your plan is completely flexible:

  • You can choose to increase or decrease the amount of expenses you’re smoothing over 12 months at any time
  • We’ll keep you updated with a monthly report so you can see how your expenses are trending
  • If your expenses are trending to be more or less than your original plan, your instalment will be adjusted accordingly
  • If you miss an instalment, there are no late fees. However, we can’t pay any expenses until the direct debit is successful.
